4月16日美日首腦會後，兩國元首在白宮玫瑰園共見記者。
🇯🇵 日本首相 #菅義偉 透過翻譯，回答記者提問時說， 美日兩國用此次會面，再次「重申 #台海 和平穩定的重要性」。兩人也有談到 #新疆 議題。
他還說:「我們同意反對任何以武力或脅迫手段改變東海和南海現狀，以及對該地區其他國家進行恐嚇的企圖。」
